Indirect Speech Act Theory and English Teaching

随着全球化的推进,英语教学在我国受到的重视也与日俱增,与之相对出现的却是对交际能力的忽视导致的"哑巴英语"现象。因此,文章在介绍了间接言语行为理论的基础之上,阐释了其对英语交际教学的重要性和启示。

With the advancement of globalization, English teaching in our country draws more attention day by day. However, the neglect of communicative competence cultivating has led to ＂dumb English＂. Therefore, this paper introduces the indirect speech act theory and explains its importance for communicative English teaching.
