The paper introduces structure characteristics of Sandwich Valve and general calculation method of body strength, analyses the processes and problems, such as inaccurate results, safety factor too large, the structure size increasing and so on, when applying the formula to the strength of the pres- sure vessel, or a standard wall thickness is determined with reference to the body size based on the ex- perience designer. This paper describes the use of SolidWorks Simulation based on finite Element tech- nology body strength analysis methods and procedures.
