Appraising Views Questioning the Distinction between Synchronic and Diachronic Linguistic Researches

当前语言学中存在几种质疑索绪尔提出的区分共时和历时的语言学观点,这些观点都需要语言学者认真论证其合理性。这些意见说明我们有必要对索绪尔的这一重要原则做进一步的研究,不了解这种区分的实质及理论意义,恐怕也不可能对语言做科学严密的研究。

At present there arise views questioning the distinction between synchronic and diachronic linguistic researches, whose rationality must be linguistically verified. These views show that it is necessary to further studies on the important theoretical principle proposed by de Saussure. If we do not understand the essence and the theoretical significance of the distinction, it is possible that we cannot study language scientifically.
