Low-carbon Urbanization Strategies of Urban Agglomeration in Beibu Gulf

北部湾城市群低碳城镇化存在经济发展和城镇水平与其他主要城市群差距较大,城镇化建设宏观协调机制不健全,基础设施、产业竞争高碳特征明显,生态环境保护和减排压力大等问题。应通过完善低碳城镇化统筹规划和城镇布局、推进基础设施和基本服务同城化、发展中小城市和小城镇及实施绿色发展战略等措施推进北部湾城市群低碳城镇化发展。

The low- carbon urbanization of urban agglomeration in Beibu Gulf presents problems such as big gap of economic development and urban level compared to other major urban agglomerations, urbanization macroscopic coordination mechanism is not perfect, obvious high- carbon in infrastructure and competition in the industry, big pressure in environmental protection and emission reduction. It should be through an integrated low- carbon planning and urban layout, to promote infrastructure and basic services in the same city, the development of small cities and small towns and the implementation of green development strategies and other measures to promote low-carbon town in Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration development.
