Humanized management is the future development direction of university library, the main expression form of it is the open-shelves reading mode, which can not only be convenient for readers＇ consulting but also improve the management efficiency. This paper introduces the features of the open-shelves management of circulating and reading university library, and in the light of the problems existing in the open-shelves management of circulating and reading in in university library, puts forward some countermeasures for improving the open-shelves management of circulating and reading in university library.
