对新建本科高校图书馆过刊管理与服务的思考——以三明学院图书馆为例

Considerations about the Management and Service of the Outdated Periodicals in the Newly Established University Library——Taking the Library of Sanming College as an Example

新建本科高校图书馆普遍存在过刊利用率较低的现象。介绍了过刊的价值,以三明学院图书馆为例,分析了新建本科高校图书馆在过刊管理中存在的问题,提出了加强过刊管理与开发利用的对策,指出应重视期刊文献资源建设的科学性,提高流通管理人员的业务素质,科学合理地管理过刊以充分发挥其利用价值。

There generally is the lower utilization of the outdated periodicals in the newly established university library. This paper introduces the value of the outdated periodicals,and taking the library of Sanming College as an example, analyzes the problems existing in the management of outdated periodicals in the newly established university library, and puts forward some countermeasures for strengthening the management, utilization and development of the outdated periodicals, and points out that should pay attention to the scientificity of the construction of periodical resources,improve the service quality of the circulation management personnel, manage the outdated periodicals in scientific and rational ways to give full play to their use value.
