Main Countermeasures to Promote the Ecological Civilization Construction in China

1987年可持续发展理念的提出与联合国1992年《21世纪议程》的出台,不仅开启了人类迈向生态文明的开端,而且为生态文明社会的建设提供了重要的制度保障。改革开放以来,我国经济在快速发展的同时,也付出了环境、资源方面的沉痛代价,资源大量浪费、生态退化、环境污染加重、人与自然的对立冲突等,严重制约了我国经济社会发展的步伐。因此,大力推进我国生态文明建设,意义重大。

The concept of sustainable development in 1987,along with the policy of ＂21st century agenda＂ by the United Nations in 1992,not only opened up the beginning of ecological civilization,but also provided an important institutional guarantee for the construction of ecological civilization society.Since China＇s reform and opening up,with the rapid development of economy,high prices in respects of the environment,resources,resources waste,ecological degradation,conflicts between human and nature are also paid,which seriously restricted the pace of China＇s economic and social development. Therefore,it is of great significance to promote the building of ecological civilization in China.
