Interrelations between Multi-Party Cooperation System and Socialist Consultative Democracy

中国共产党领导的多党合作和政治协商制度是根植于中国土壤、符合中国国情、具有中国特色的社会主义政党制度。这一政党制度不但是社会主义协商民主的来源和实践基础,蕴涵了协商民主的本质特征,而且,多党合作制度中的政治协商还是社会主义协商民主的重要组成部分。因此,推进社会主义协商民主广泛、多层、制度化发展,必须加强中国共产党领导的多党合作和政治协商制度建设。

The multi- party cooperation and political consultation system under the CPC＇ s leadership is the socialist political party system with Chinese characteristics that is rooted in China and suitable for current situation in China.Such system is the source and foundation of socialist consultative democracy and implies the essential character of consultative democracy.And the political consultation in the multi- party cooperation system is also an important part of socialist consultative democracy.Therefore,we must strengthen the development of multi-party cooperation and political consultation system under the CPC＇ s leadership so as to facilitate the extensive,multi- tiered and institutionalized development of socialist consultative democracy.
