ZHU Zongyuan's Experience in Treating Infantile Exogenous Fever

朱宗元对外感发热有独特的认识,将外感发热的治疗分为两步进行,即发热期重湿热为患,祛邪以截后患,善用蒿芩清胆汤清湿热;热退后滋阴生津兼顾余邪以绝其根。从病因病机角度及方药角度进行了探讨,并选取典型病案分析,对两法的临床应用以实例佐证。

Prof. ZHU Zongyuan has special understanding for infantile exogenous fever. He holds that the treatment of infantile exogenous fever includes in two steps. During febrile stage,the cause is dampness-heat,and the treatment principle should be focused on eliminating pathogens,thus,Haoqin Qingdan Tang（ 蒿芩清胆汤） should be used. After fever remission,the treating principles are nourishing Yin-engendering liquid,in combination with eliminating the remaining pathogens. This article discusses the etiology and pathogenesis of the infantile exogenous fever,and Chinese herbal prescription for this disease. In addition,the article selects some typical cases to illustrate the clinical application of these two principles.
