长沙郡起源初探

Exploring the Origin of Changsha County

里耶秦简出土以后,长沙郡作为秦朝初年三十六郡之一的传统观点被否定。多种资料显示,长沙郡极有可能是由长沙王吴芮设置。长沙郡出现的前提是该地区在政区划分上发生重大变化,即由洞庭、苍梧二郡演变为长沙一郡;吴芮在楚汉战争之际占领了该地区,有条件进行这一政区变更;长沙之名来源于古越语,而吴芮的势力集团正是越人集团。

The traditional view that Changsha county was one of thirty -six counties in Qin Dynasty was denied after Liyc bamboo un- earthed. Several documents show that Changsha county was very likely set up by WU Rui who was the king of Changsha. The precondi- tion for the appearance of Changsha county is the major changes in its administrative divisions, that is, two counties, Dongting and Cangwu evolved into Changsha county. WU Rui occupied the area during the war between Chu and Han, who had the power to alter the administrative region. The name of Changsha originated from ancient Yue language, and WU Rui＇ s forces group was just the Yue group.
