From the aspects of geographical environ- ment, religious belief, historical events, literary quotation,tradition, etc. , there are many obvious differences in English and Chinese idioms. Due to the cultural differences between Chinese and English, the accurate translation of English idiom to Chinese is a difficult part in translation. Translators should pay attention to English and Chinese cultural differences while doing translation of English idiom, they need beth care idioms＇ national features and think over the acceptance level of readers, and adopt proper translation skills to make a vivid and accurate translation.
