Thrust bearing is one of the core assembly parts in hydroelectric generating set. The installation quality directly affects safe and stable operation of the unit. How to ensure the installation quality of thrust bearing in large hydroelectric generating set should be seriously considered. In the paper, thrust bearing installation process and adjusting method of Jinping First Cascade Hydropower Station are described.
