Digital archives and Electronic records center are new types of document management institutions under the background of informatization. Both of them are of great significance to the construction of China＇s archival information. But for a long time, different regions have different patterns on the development of the two institutions and sometimes they have confused the two conceptions. This article discusses the discrepancy of conception, development process and construction trend between digital archives and electronic records center and figures out the relationship between them.
