生态语言学视角下的科技借入语翻译——以物理学术语为例

Study of Scientific Loanwords Translation under the Perspective of Ecolinguistics—Taking Physical Termes as Examples

随着科技发展,大量科技借入语进入我国,其相关翻译现象良莠不齐。本文以物理学术语为例,从生态语言学角度对科技借入语翻译进行评析,旨在促使科技翻译工作者及语言学家更好认识这种特殊语言现象,正视科技借入语这一语言变体并为其发展提供良好的语言生态环境,从而保护科技领域的语言生态平衡。进而,科技借入语的研究又为生态语言学这门新兴的学科添砖加瓦,使其在理论与实践上不断加强完善。

With the development of science,a great amount of scientific loanwords have been brought into China,but its translation is not well-developed.Taking physical terms as examples,the paper probes into the translation of scientific loanwords under the view of ecolinguistics so as to urge the scientific translators and linguistics to better understand the special linguistic phenomena,and provide sound ecolinguistic environment for its development.In this way,the ecolinguistic balance in the field of science could be protected.Furthermore,the study of scientific loanwords could do its bit for ecolinguistic research in order to improve it both on the level of theory and practice.
