Industrial water supply system is an important part in the process of steel smelting, its con- tinuity and stability is also the important guarantee of smelting safety. In actual production, the water supply system has the risk of sudden power loss, electricity break - up of the whole station etc, which directly affect the safety of smelting production. The article mainly introduced a series of methods such as diesel pump used to solve the above problems applied in an industrial water plant, and the methods were proved effective.
