Oligopolistic market structure of west country was formatted at the beginning of 20th century.Till now,it is still the dominating market structure in west countries.Since the 1990s,accompany with the globalization speeding up,the 5th firm merger wave developed rapid- ly,also with the loosen of government anti monopoly policy,the concentration rate of oligopolistic market in west country raised further,and the tendency of domestic oligopoly become international oligopoly also occurred.The main factors that affect the development of the Oligopolistic market structure are market competition,modem firm institution,firm merger,technical innovation and Anti-monopoly policy of government.
