Effects of sodium benzoate on body weight in mice

摘要 目的研究苯甲酸钠对小鼠体重的影响。方法制作高脂饲料和苯甲酸钠含量为0.01%、0.10%、1.0%的分组饲料,共30只清洁级昆明小鼠分笼饲养,自由进食和自由饮水,20周后测定体重与体长。结果小鼠体长无差异;体重大小依次为0.1%组、0.01%组、高脂组、基础组、1.0%组;0.1%组高于所有其他组别(P<0.01);结论苯甲酸钠通过肠道菌群抑制作用,促进肥胖发生。 Objective To study the Effects of sodium benzoate on body weight in mice.Methods Making high-fat diet and sodium benzoate content of 0.01%, 0.10%, 1.0% grouping feed.A total of 30 Kunming mice of clean grade housed separately,Freely feeding and free access to water.After 20 weeks, body weight and body length was measured. Results No difference in body length of mice.The sequentially of body weight was 0.1% group, 0.01% group, high-fat group, foundation group, 1.0% group. The 0.1% group was higher than all other groups(P0.01). DiscussionSodium benzoate promoting formation of obesity by inhibited the intestinal flora.
