汉-英-日三语者的跨语言长时重复启动效应研究

Investigating the long-term cross-language repetition priming effects in Chinese-English-Japanese trilinguals

本文旨在考察汉-英-日三语者的跨语言长时重复启动效应。研究采用语义归类和词汇判断任务,以40个汉、英、日非同源翻译对等词为实验材料。研究结果表明:1)语义归类任务下,存在跨语言条件下一语对二语的长时重复启动效应,但不存在跨语言条件下二语对三语、一语对三语的长时重复启动效应;2)词汇判断任务下,存在跨语言条件下一语对二语、二语对三语的长时重复启动效应,但不存在跨语言条件下一语对三语的长时重复启动效应。实验结果支持修正等级模型和词汇连接模型。

This experimental study was designed to investigate the long-term cross-language repetition priming effects in Chinese-English-Japanese trilinguals. Forty Chinese, English and Japanese non-cognate translation equivalent pairs were used as stimuli in the two experiments in which the semantic categorization and lexical decision task were herein deployed. Results show that:(1) in the semantic categorization task, there were long-term repetition priming effects of L1 to L2 under cross-language condition while no long-term repetition priming effects of L2 to L3 and L1 to L3 were found under cross-language condition; and(2) in the lexical decision task, there were long-term repetition priming effects of L1 to L2 and L2 to L3 under cross-language condition, but long-term repetition priming effects of L1 to L3 were not obtained under cross-language condition. The findings lent support to both the revised hierarchical model and word association model.
