政府信任与居民的再分配偏好——来自中国数据的经验分析

Trust in Government and Preference for Redistribution:An Empirical Study of the Data of China

作为连接微观个体与宏观政治机构的纽带,政府信任是政府政策有效性的微观基础。通过影响政府提供公共品的收益与风险,政府信任对居民的再分配偏好可以产生重要的影响。文章利用CGSS微观调查数据,采用Ordered Probit模型,考虑政府信任与居民再分配偏好的双向因果关系,发现居民对政府的信任显著影响其再分配偏好,在其他条件不变的情况下,对政府的信任程度越高,居民对再分配的支持、偏好程度越高。

As a link that connects the micro individual and macro political institutions,trust in government not only directly reflects the legitimacy of the government,but also is the micro foundation of government policy effectiveness. In the redistribution field,trust in government exerts an important influence on residents＇ preference for redistribution by affecting the benefit and risk of public goods provided by government. Using the CGSS micro survey data and the ordered probit model,and considering the causal relationship between trust in government and residents preference for redistribution,this paper analyzes the causal effect between trust in government and residents preference for redistribution. It is found that trust in government plays a remarkable role in preference for redistribution. Ceteris paribus,the greater the trust in government is,the higher the level of the residents＇ support and preference for redistribution is.
