摘要
近年来中美高校学生事务管理比较研究的文献相当数量还止步于单纯现象的对比与分析,从文化差异的背景下来审视这一研究的成果还不多见。尝试在对学生事务与学生事务管理的概念进行科学合理界定的前提下,分别从中美文化价值观的差异(群体本位与个体本位)、中美文化心理观的差异(封闭求稳与开放思变)与中美文化思维观的差异(伦理行政思维与契约法治思维)的角度来分析中美高校学生事务管理的不同,最后得到的启示是:借鉴美国高校学生事务管理做法时需把文化差异作为考量因素;对中美两国的高校学生事务管理带有共性的东西可以大胆吸收;引进美国高校学生事务管理的信息化技术要规避价值危机风险。
In recent years, while a large number of theses which focus on the comparative study of Chinese and American college student affairs administration have been confined to the comparison and analysis of the phenomena, hardly any studies have addressed this topic in view of cultural differences. With the precondition of making a scientific definition of student affairs and its administration, this essay attempts to analyze the differences between Chinese and American student affairs administration in three aspects: the differences between Chinese and American cultural values (collectivism versus individualism), different psychological views (closeness and stability versus opening and innovation), different thought patterns (ethics and contract law). As a conclusion, the essay is to suggest: taking cultural differences into account when learning from American college student affairs administration; absorbing the similarities shared by Chinese and American college student affairs administration; avoiding the value crisis when introducing information technology applied in college student affairs administration from America.
