Memories of the Winter Village

人到中年，我越来越喜欢冬天了，年轻时和大多数人一样喜欢春天的诗情画意，夏天的火热幽趣，秋天的浪漫情调：多少年过去，那些闲情逸致早已被日子打磨得千疮百孔；春耕夏锄秋收，疲惫的心平和了，感激自然恩赐的所有悲喜，因为劳累之后，日头就会暖暖地照在冬日农家的炕头上，许多故事都在冬天里开始风生水起了，像病蚌把珍珠孕育，山村的冬目默默把人生的故事珍藏在炉火的温暖里。

As I entered the middle age, I increasingly came to enjoy the winter. Like most people, when I was young, I like the .poetic and picturesque spring, the hot and interesting summer and the romantic autumn. Many years passed and theleisurely and carefree mood was torn and damaged by the days. After ploughing in spring, hoeing in summer and reaping in autumn, the exhausted heart becomes peaceful in appreciation of all the joys and sorrows bestowed by nature for after the tiring work the sun will warmly shine on the farmer＇s kang in winter and many stories start to take place. Like a sick oyster bearing the pearl, the winter days in the village cherish the life stories in the warm fire of the furnace.
