摘要
美国是全球媒介产品及文化大国,其媒介素养教育的发展一开始则相对落后,但是近几十年以来美国媒介素养教育迅速发展,逐渐形成了自己的理论框架和体系。在阐述媒介素养的概念及媒介素养教育的目标和意义的基础上,以时间为轴线分五个阶段回顾了美国媒介素养教育的发展历史,并探讨了新媒体时代下其媒介素养教育面临的挑战。
America is a global leader in media product and culture,but its media literacy education has lagged behind European countries.In recent years,media literacy education in America has developed rapidly and a theoretical frame and system in this area has been formed.In this paper the concept of media literacy and objective of its education are analyzed.Then the history of American media literacy education is reviewed based on time line.The challenges for media literacy education under the new media age are finally discussed.
