Reading is a main way for people to obtain knowledge and improve oneself, and it is the only way to human civilization. In today＇s society reading crisis is intensified, which not only affects the improvement of cultural quality of the whole society, also concerns the future and destiny of a nation. So how to strengthen the construction of reading culture has become a major issue in today＇s society. In this paper,the significance and ways of reading culture construction are summarized.
