摘要
美国是当今世界上的公共外交大国。公共外交是美国推行其对外战略、塑造美国国家形象以及维护美国国家利益的重要手段之一。而基金会等非政府组织在美国的公共外交实践中发挥了重要作用。在数量众多的美国的各种基金会中,福特基金会对全球性事务的兴趣最为浓厚。因此,福特基金会也是美国借以推行其公共外交的重要的非政府组织之一。福特基金会在美国推进公共外交的过程中发挥了重要作用,为我国基金会建设及我国非政府组织参与推动公共外交,提供有利的借鉴和重要的启示。
The USA is the public diplomacy powers m the world. Public diplomacy is one of the most important methods for pushing foreign policy, shaping country＇s image, maintaining state interests. However, some non-governmental organization, such as foundation, especially Ford foundation, play a key role in public diplomacy of USA. It is the advantage reference and important enlightenment for establishing foundation of our country.
