家庭功能对农村留守儿童问题行为的影响——兼论自尊的中介效应

Impact of family function on externalizing problem behavior among rural children left behind: On mediation of self-esteem

基于M镇341名农村留守儿童和74名非留守儿童的调查数据,探讨了家庭功能对农村留守儿童问题行为的影响以及自尊的中介作用。结果表明:与非留守儿童比较,双留守儿童的家庭功能普遍较差、自尊水平较低、问题行为较多,单留守儿童家庭中成员的角色模糊、沟通状况较差;家庭功能各维度与留守儿童问题行为呈显著负相关,其中,行为控制维度对问题行为有显著负向预测作用,自尊在此关系中起完全中介作用。

To explore the mediation of self-esteem on the relationship between family function and externalizing problem behavior among children left behind by parents in rural area, family function scale, self esteem scale, and extemalizing behavior problem questionnaire were administered by 341 left-behind children and 72 non-left-behind children in Hunan province. Results were showed as follows： Comparing with the non left-behind children, two-parent-absent-children scored lower on family function dimensions, self-esteem and higher on problem behaviors, and one-parent-absent- children also scored lower on the dimensions of role and communication. Based on the data of left behind children, family function positively correlated with self-esteem, and negatively correlated with problem behaviors; self-esteem completely mediated the relationship of behavior control predicting on the behavior problem.
