The construction of grassroots CPC organizations in institutions of higher learning is closely related to the building a harmonious society as it is not only the exact practice but also the indication of a harmonious society. Moreover, a harmonious society is also one of the objectives of CPC organization construction in colleges and universities. To meet the demands of the new situation, institutions of higher learning should enlarge CPC organization staff, optimize organization system and CPC member development, moderately control the number of students CPC members, guarantee the quality of CPC member development so as to promote the cohesion and power of the grassroots CPC organizations, guarantee the the mutual improvement of the practices of the construction of party organization and harmonious society.
