科技期刊编辑的职业认同在期刊的发展中非常重要,它不仅影响编辑的职业行为、编辑自身的成长和素质提高,还事关编辑活动开展和出版物的质量。目前关于科技期刊编辑职业认同对职业行为之影响的研究较少,关于科技期刊编辑职业行为调查和研究的范围还主要限于理论层面,缺乏具体的量化指标,关于职业认同与职业行为相关性研究在国内鲜有论及,科技期刊编辑职业认同的理论研究体系尚未构建,有待于进一步深入研究和探讨。

Scientific journal editors＇ professional identity affect editors＇ professional performance, and is very important in journals＇ development. There is yet little related research. The scientific journal editors＇ professional identity and its status affect not only the development of the editors, but also the editing activities and the quality of the publications. Till now there is still limited research concerning the influence of the editor＇s professional identity on the professional performance. And the survey and research of the editor＇s professional performance is still confined in theoretic studies. Concrete qualitative index is yet to be formulated. And there is still no report on the related studies on professional identity and performance. The theoretical framework is waiting to be formulated and further research has to bc carried out.
