对丽水古堰画乡景点导游词英译的评析

An Analysis on English Version of Tour Commentary for Ancient Weir Painting Hometown in Lishui

基于翻译学合作原则的理论框架,以"功能相似,语意相符"为翻译标准,对丽水"古堰画乡"景点导游词的英译文作评析,主要针对信息量、真实性、关联性以及表达方式方面的问题进行改译和点评,指出翻译时应注意旅游景点导游词的英译行为是一种跨文化交际活动,翻译时一方面要忠实于景点特征和文化内涵,另一方面又要关照西方游客的接受性。

Based on the modern translation principles of cooperation and the criterion of similarity in function and correspondence in meaning,this paper analyzes some problems in information quantity,authenticity,interrelation and expressiveness of the English version of the tour commentary for Ancient Weir Painting Hometown,a famous scenic spot in Lishui city. It argues that such translation deals with the cross-cultural communication,and that the translation should be faithful to the features and culture of scenic spots as well as acceptable to western tourists.
