高职英语专业英文报刊选读课程中学生阅读能力的培养研究

Study on the Cultivation of Reading Ability in English Newspaper Reading Course for English Major in Higher Vocational Colleges

高等职业教育在我国高等教育中占有及其重要的地位,我国每年高等职业教育的毕业生人数不断呈现上升趋势。2000年10月国家教育部颁布的《高职高专英语教育教学基本要求中提出:高职高专英语教学应该以"实用为主,够用为度"的原则,高职学生的阅读能力是决定学生应用能力考试是否合格的关键。根据对全国高职高专毕业生的相关调查研究,我们发现学生在工作中对于英语最需要的是英语阅读能力和英语语言运用能力。因此,研究高职高专学生阅读策略的使用是十分必要的。本文通过在高职英语专业教学中,开展英文报刊选读课程,从而培养学生的阅读能力。

Higher vocational education plays an important role in our country＇s higher education,and the number of graduates of higher vocational education in our country is increasing. In October 2000,the National Education Ministry issued the basic requirements of higher vocational English teaching： higher vocational English teaching should be based on the principle of ＂ practical,good enough for the degree＂,vocational students＇ reading ability is the key to determine the students＇ ability to use test.According to the relevant research of the national vocational college graduates,we find that the students＇ ability to use English in their work is most needed. Therefore,it is very necessary to study the use of reading strategies in higher vocational colleges.Based on English majors in higher vocational education,we can carry out English newspaper reading course so as to cultivate the students＇ reading ability.
