由于中西文化存在着巨大差异,因此,翻译对博大精深的中华文化的呈现具有重要意义。本文分别从翻译的社会性、文化性、符号转换性、创造性、历史性出发,分别举例探讨分析汉语文化词语英译的翻译特性,从而使译者实现有特色的翻译,能准确表达原文的信息及文化意义。

Translation has great significance for the representation of the richness and exquisiteness of the Chinese culture,for there is big difference between Chinese and Western cultures. This paper,starting from the sociality,culture,transformation of signs,creativity,and history of translation,discusses the properties of translation in detail with examples. Translators can thus accomplish distinctive translation,and accurately transfer information and cultural significance into English version.
