To save land resource and avoid repeated construction,the function of urban road highways should be taken into account.Presently,many local planning departments have considered this point when planning road network.To combine highways and urban roads organically,the way of designing should be focused on research.Referring to relevant norms,the use of principle of some key indicators often encountered in such design projects is analyzed.
