从社会发展、地方经济发展、学校发展、学科布局等方面分析了体育专业设置的必要性.通过对兰州文理学院专业设置的现有基础条件、学生生源、毕业生的社会影响等不同层面进行论证,说明在兰州文理学院增设社会体育指导与管理专业不仅是自身不断发展的需要,更是适应现代体育事业发展的需要.

Based on the social investigation and literature review,this paper analyzes the necessity of setting up sports guidance and management profession from the perspectives of social development,the development of the local economy,layout of disciplines,university＇s development,the existing basic conditions,origin of students and graduates.The conclusion is that setting up this major is not only the need of the sustainale development of its own,but also the need of development of modern sports.
