Discussion on Emotional Investment in Teaching

现在高中教学中,很多教师忽视了情感投入,一味做题,导致学生缺乏兴趣,教师和学生缺乏交流,导致学生对教师疏远甚至敌对,最终对学习成绩产生消极影响。新课标强调了关于教学中的情感问题。要关心学生的情感态度,要进一步提高成绩,教师的情感投入起着关键作用。作为一名高中教师,应该提高这方面的意识,了解学生、尊重学生,将情感教育贯穿课堂,同事要善于表达情感,以进一步促进教育教学的成功。

Currently, many high school teachers pay too much attention to doing exercises mechanically, overlooking students＇ attitudes, causing students to lose interest in study. Others lack communication with students, causing students to feel distant towards the teacher. As a result, all their efforts intended to improve students＇ academic performance are in vain. The new English Curriculum Standard lays importance on the emotional aim.The teacher＇s emotional investment plays a key role in improving students＇ academic performance as well as caring about their emotional attitude. As a high school teacher, we should raise our awareness and learn to invest more emotion to our teaching and to express our feelings properly.
