摘要
在基于高空平台(High Altitude Platform,HAP)的通信网络中,用户在小区间运动时会触发通信切换。采用常规基于信号强度的切换判决方法,门限低易发生乒乓切换,而门限高对于高速用户会发生越区未切换。为提高判决算法对速率的适应性,结合HAP波束覆盖的特点,设计了一种基于移动预测辅助的切换判决算法,利用速度信息预测下一时刻的位置,再根据波束覆盖模型推导其信号强度,以此辅助切换判决。仿真证明该算法在降低切换次数保证切换成功率方面具有较好的性能。
In HAP (High Altitude Platform)communication network, the users' move across cells would touch off communication handoffs. And with traditional handoff decision algorithm based on signal strength, low thresthold would cause ping-pong swith, while high thresthold result in over-line but no handoff for high-speed users. To increase the adaptability of handoff-decision threshold to speed, and according to the beam-cover characteristics of HAP platform, a handover decision algorithm with mobility prediction as an auxiliary is proposed and designed. This algorithm, with speed information to predict the position of next moment and beam-cover model to drive the signal strength of next moment could thus assist the handover decision. Simulation indicates that the proposed algorithm is of fairly good performance in reducing handover frequency and ensuring handover success-rate.
