刘勰的文道观是对文道关系的第一次系统论述,其一方面认为文原出于道,以论证文的合法性与重要性,一方面又认为文返原于道,以确立文的标准与规范,最终用意则在提倡儒家的为文法则,而非宣扬儒家的政教思想,这是其独特之处,也是其价值所在。
