世界旅游名城建设背景下高职旅游英语人才培养——以扬州工业职业技术学院为例

Cultivation of Tourism English Talents in Vocational Colleges on the Background of Building World Famous Tourism City——Taking Yangzhou Polytechnic Institute as an Example

扬州作为全国历史文化名城之一,旅游资源极为丰厚。本文通过调研扬州旅游市场和高职旅游英语人才培养现状,以扬州工业职业技术学院为例,从完善课程结构体系,改进旅游英语专业教学,加强师资队伍建设,构建政、行、企、校人才培养平台等方面提出世界旅游名城建设背景下高职旅游英语人才培养模式和途径,对加强旅游英语人才培养,推动扬州旅游产业发展和世界旅游名城建设具有重要现实意义。

Yangzhou is one of Chinese famous historical and cultural cities with rich cultural tourism resources. Through investigating tourism markets and the current situation of tourism English professional teaching in Yangzhou vocational colleges and taking Yangzhou Polytechnic Institute as an example,this essay proposes teaching modes and channels of tourism English professionals in vocational colleges from the aspects of improving module structure,improving tourism English teaching,enhancing the construction of faculty and building platforms for professional growth with administrative,industrial,enterprise and campus supports. The modes and channels in this essay will bear significant practice meaning for improving tourism English teaching and contributing to Yangzhou tourism development and building world-class tourism destination city.
