College Students' Chinese Phonological Experience and English Phonological Awareness

摘要 采用问卷调查和听辨测试相结合的方法,研究大学生汉语语音经验与英语语音意识发展水平,并对两者关系进行初步分析。结果显示,被试的汉语语音经验比较丰富,大多具有方言普通话双语能力,学过汉语拼音,而英语语音意识普遍不强,且发展不平衡,其中音节意识和音位意识远低于首音/韵脚意识。统计分析没有发现英语语音意识水平与汉语语音经验之间存在显著的相关性。 By questionnaire and listening discrimination test, college students'Chinese phonological experience and English phonological awareness are studied and a preliminary analysis of their relationship is conducted. The result shows that the subjects have rich experience in Chinese language acquisition and most of them are dialect - Putonghua bilinguals who have learned Chinese pinyin. However, their English phonological awareness is quite weak and unbalanced, of which syllable awareness and phoneme awareness are much weaker than onset - rime awareness. The statistic analysis does not reveal a significant correlation between English phonological awareness and Chinese phonological experience.
