Huizhou＇s geographical environment is known as eighty percent of mountains,ten percent of water and ten percent of field,but they take full advantage of water. The ubiquitous and ingenious water system reflects the beauty of practicality,aesthetic and culture in Huizhou ancient villages. The traditional philosophical views are reflected by the use of water. The multi- purpose of water use,the whole circulating water system and ecological processing methods are worthy of learning in planning and architectural design today.
