摘要
采用FLUENT商业CDF软件,以CSP连铸机中间包内钢液的流动行为为研究对象,模拟计算了控流装置的布置方式对中包内钢液流动行为和夹杂物运动轨迹的影响。结果表明,在没有安装挡坝只有挡墙的情况下,中包内存在较大短路流,现有的布置方式效果不理想,经过优化的控流装置布置方式能够得到较合理的流场分布,利于夹杂物的上浮排除。经过实际生产过程的跟踪,优化后薄规格产品的夹杂缺陷有所降低。
Taking the flow filed characteristics of molten steel in CSP caster tundish as studied subject, a two dimensional mathematical model was developed based on FVM(Finite Volume Method). The effect of fluid flow on floatation of non-metallic inclusion was investigated by numerical simulation, and the fluid flow pattern was optimized by adjustment of flow control device. The results show that a short-circuit flow that goes against the floatation of inclusion is found in tundish with only weir. The reasonable fluid flow pattern is obtained after optimization, which is beneficial to the floatation of inclusion. The inclusion defect of thin gauge products is decreased to a certain extent.
