连动式的结构机制:PTS、情状特征和VP的外延

Structural Constraints of SVCs:PTS,Situation Properties and Denotation of VP

连动式的表层形式都是"VP+VP",却可以表示多种不同的句法语义结构,其结构差异必然源自VP的语义层面。现有文献讨论比较多的是时序-语序对应的PTS结构机制,也有一些文献提出了VP有界性的结构作用。本文以PTS结构机制为基础,同时将有界性的结构作用拓展为基于情状特征的结构机制,并提出基于VP外延关系的结构机制。在这三种结构机制的综合作用下,表层形式相同的连动式就可以表示多种不同的句法语义结构。

Though sharing the same form of ＂VP ＋ VP＂, SVCs display various syntax-semantic structures, thus there must be some semantic determinants. In the current literature, the studies on structural constraints of SVC centre around the correspondence between word order and temporal order of events. There are also some studies revealing the structural constraint of VP＇s boundedness. Based on PTS, this article proposes the VP＇s denotation-based Constraint and the Situation-properties-based Structural Constraint which develops from the current studies on the VP＇s boundedness. Because of these three structural constraints, different syntax-semantic structures can share the same form of ＂VP ＋ VP＂.
