Time Urgency: Young People under the Rapid Social Change

改革开放以来,中国社会的急速变迁在给人们带来种种机遇的同时,也使社会充满了不确定性。本研究阐释了当下中国青年人的期望在社会快速的变迁之下被极大释放与提升,同时又被社会急速变迁带来的不确定性所挤压,最终形成一种希望迅速占有更多的价值,尽快达到成功、成为精英的时间焦虑。本研究通过实证研究,验证了当下中国青年人与其他不同群体相比,存在的两极性与特殊时间焦虑。

Rapid social change in China from reform and opening-up, brings a variety of opportunities and uncertainty. This study illustrates the expectations of the Chinese youth has been released greatly under rapid social change, meanwhile, been restricted by the uncertainty of society. Eventually, the youth feel time urgency that achieve success quickly, and become the elite early. With the empirical research, this study verified the Chinese youth, compared with other people groups, has special time urgency.
