As corn stover is rich in nutrients contents, it has become one of the main feeding raw materials of animal husbandry industry in China. And its harvest mechanization technology is one of the main ways to make sure of healthy and rapid development of livestock breeding industry in our country. In this article, the current situation of silage corn planting and harvesting in China was briefly introduced, types and features of domestic and foreign existing silage corn harvest devices were mainly summarized, and the development trend of the technology and equipment of silage corn harvest in our country was also prospected.
