摘要
本文选取1990—2014年6种国际权威应用语言学期刊发表的语言教师信念相关文献建立语料库,采用词频统计法对语言教师信念研究的热点问题和趋势进行统计分析。结果显示:(1)语言教师信念研究主要围绕教师信念内容、教师信念与教学行为相关性、教师信念影响因素、教师信念与教师专业发展4个方面展开;(2)实证研究是主流研究方法,研究工具以访谈、问卷调查、课堂观察和日志为主。文章所得结果对我国语言教师信念研究选题、研究方法设计、研究工具使用等具有启示意义。
This paper, by means of the word frequency statistics, investigates the focuses and trends of the research on language teacher beliefs based on a corpus of papers published in 6 internationally renowned applied linguistics journals from 1990 to 2014. It finds that: ( 1 ) the research on language teacher beliefs mainly covers four areas: the connotation of teacher beliefs, the relationship between teacher beliefs and teaching practice, sources of teacher beliefs, teacher beliefs and teacher development; (2) empirical studies take a dominant position, and interviews, questionnaires, classroom observations and teaching journals are the research tools most frequently used. The findings offer some implications in terms of topics, design of research methods and use of research tools for the research on language teacher beliefs in China.
