客家山歌是客家地区民间文化的瑰宝,具有极高的审美价值。客家山歌没有集中的歌种,大多以地方命名。客家山歌曲调丰富,因地域不同而多姿多彩;内容涵盖了客家人生活的方方面面,表达了客家人对自然、人生的思考,饱含着厚重的客家民系文化信息。迁移至台湾的客家人,将各地特色的客家山歌带到台湾,相互融合并吸收新元素后形成新风格的客家山歌。客家山歌要适应社会时代的发展,必须要有创新。

The Hakka folk songs are the treasure of folk culture in the Hakka region, which have very high aesthetic values. There is no focused song category in the Hakka folk songs, most of which are named after the place. The tunes of Hakka folk songs are rich and colorful because of the regional differences. The contents of these songs cover all aspects of Hakka life, expressing Hakka people’ s thinking of life and nature, full of Hakka cultural information. Those Hakka people, when migrating to Taiwan, have brought with them the Hakka folk songs of different characteristics to Taiwan. Then these folk songs have absorbed some new elements and integrated into new styles. Thus, the Hakka folk songs should be more creative in order to adapt to the social development.
