中国公共外交要以中华文化历史悠久、能量强大的宗教为资源,传播中国智慧、讲述中国故事、发出中国声音,使中国公共外交更加有声有色、深入人心。宗教是地缘政治中"貌不惊人"的软实力,宗教发展现状是公共外交的重要内容。在开展公共外交时要关注宗教的地缘政治影响。开展宗教公共外交还需要注意宗教的正反两面性、扩张性、虚实兼顾性以及"放大器"与"导火线"作用。

In public diplomacy, China should make good use of its time-honored and influential religions to present itself to the world, and make China's public diplomacy more impressive and acceptable. Religion is a 'low-profile' soft power in geopolitics, and we should give full play to its geopolitical influence in public diplomacy.
