作为一部研究中国"丝路战略"软环境的著作,《丝路学研究》(时事出版社,2014年9月)一书重点研究了丝路辐射空间内的中国人文外交。从"新的视角"重审作为"文化线路"之一的丝路后发现,"丝绸之路"已衍化为"丝路辐射空间",并从历史梳理、主要项目、反思与展望这三个方面论述中国人文外交,整理了具有中国特色的人文外交的项目。

A work focusing on the soft environment of China's Silk Road Strategy, A Silk Road Study(Beijing: Current Affairs Press, 2014) focuses on research into China's cultural diplomacy within the areas influenced by the Silk Road. After reviewing the Silk Road – which also serves as a route for cultural exchange –from a new perspective, the author finds that the Silk Road can exert significantinfluence over the large areas it reaches. The author also expounds and reviews the history, major projects and future of China's cultural diplomacy, and presents projects suited to China's cultural diplomacy.
