摘要 Shortly after the People's Republic of China was founded in 1949, it wasnecessary and in its interest for China to join the socialist camp led by the SovietUnion. In 1954, China proposed the five principles of "peaceful coexistence". Atthe Bandung Conference in 1955, China, India and Myanmar jointly advocated thefive principles as a means of good governance in Asia and the whole world. Earlyin the 21st century, China proposed a new concept of "win-win cooperation" as animportant principle for international relations in the new global era.
