For over a decade,Xue Wei has been an enthusiastic matchmaker for the elder people,more than 50,000 of which have registered at her office.With her help,over 1,000 couples have got married,making her a famous volunteer matchmaker for the elder people in Qingdao.In 2013,her knees were severely injured,as a result of which,she had to walk with a stick.But she consisted on matchmaking for others in spite of the hurt and her husband carried her on his back during that period everyday as a support to her work.In 2015,she was awarded Civilized Citizen in Qingdao.
