摘要
为了探讨注意力与交替传译的关系,文章以南京某师范类大学外国语学院英语专业翻译方向三年级的43名本科生为研究对象进行了实验。研究结果表明:注意力集中能力与交替传译能力的相关性最高;在英译汉和汉译英两个翻译方向的交替传译中,流利度都受到了注意力集中能力的显著影响;交替传译中存在左耳优势效应,左耳是听取源语的最佳途径。
This study aims to investigate the relationship between attention and performance of consecutive interpreting. 43 junior students who majored in interpreting took part in the experiments. The resuhs suggest that： focused attention is closely correlated to consecutive interpreting;speaking fluency is affected by focused attention in both E-C and C-E interpreting;and interpreters have left-ear advantage in consecutive interpreting ,which makes left ear the preferred route to listen to the source language.
