论“河西学”的界定与构建

On Defining and Constructing of a New Discipline: HEXI Studies

河西走廊地区历史悠久,文物古迹众多,各种新材料层出不穷,敦煌学、简牍学、西夏学等国际性"显学"都肇始于河西地区。但是,这些学科的研究各有其时空界限,都不足以涵盖丰富多彩的河西文化,更不能全面反映河西历史的深刻内涵,甚至连河西发现的诸多"新材料",也难以全部纳入其中。在国家实施"一带一路"建设战略的大背景下,建立一门研究领域更广泛、研究内容更丰富的"河西学",既是时代的要求,也是学科发展的必然,不仅有利于学术文化的发展,而且具有重要的现实意义和社会文化价值。

Hexi Corridor region has a long history, numerous cultural relics and monuments and a variety of new materials emerging in an endless stream, some internationally prominent studies originally began in Hexi area,including the studies of Dunhuang, Bamboo slips, and Xixia. However, the studies of these disciplines have their own space and time limits and are not sufficient to cover the richness and colorfulness of the culture of Hexi Corridor, nor can they fully reflect the profound meaning of the history of Hexi Corridor, and it is even difficult to include all the new materials discovered in Hexi Corridor area. Under the background of the national construction of ＂One Belt and One Road＂ ,to develop a study of Hexi Corridor that has wider research field and richer research content is both the requirements of the times and the inevitable development of the subject,which is not only conducive to academic and cultural development, but also has important practical significance and socio -＇cultural values.
